Jack was resentful that I disappeared while Nans was getting ready to go home but I was not helping her to get dressed. I'd seen her parade around in a slip one to many times. The minute she went home she started calling. I was nice the first five times but now I was tired.

Ring
I picked up the phone.

"Jack is sleeping" I said flatly.

"Well don't wake him up I'm sure he's very tired with you bothering him all the time."

I hung up.

Ring

"Jack is sleeping, so there's no reason for you to continue calling."

"Wake him up!" Nans said.

"You told me not to bother him, isn't that what you said?"

"I told you to wake him up God damn It!!!!"

"I'm sorry." I said

I hung up.

This could go on all night.
